Welcome to the Central Western District Golf Association web page. The Association (CWDGA) has been in operation since 1953, conducting golf events across fifteen (15) clubs, including running open tournaments for both grass and sand greens, junior tournaments, development camps and our unique pennant series run over four (4) divisions every year since 1991.
The Central West is home to a number of very successful golf professionals that have all come through our junior ranks; namely Peter O’Malley, Steve Conran, Lucas Parsons and Gavin Coles. Junior golf is singularly the most important item we promote throughout the year with intensive clinics, camps and coaching carried out from January – December throughout the year.
The CWDGA also has a junior development and WRAS squad, which is coached by our own Bruce McLean every month at various clubs throughout the district.
